Students find out what their partner has learnt during this lesson and record their answers in the speech bubble. They are to act as news reporters showing interviewing skills.

Students throw the dice twice, once to get the number for the bottom row and then a second number to get the side row. They then use the two numbers to gain the correct question or task. Has been successfully used at the end of the lesson and the students enjoy using the dice.

Students collect a role card and then answer the question provided. Good resource to have students feedback to the whole group.

Starter Activity - Tutankhamun connection

This was used as an introductory lesson for Tutankhamun and to test the knowledge of the students of the connection to Howard Carter who discovered his tomb. Students complete this task individually. Was successful in creating a group discussion on the topic itself. It was used in an art lesson but can be translated across many other subjects too.

Designed to aid students in evaluating their own pieces of work giving themselves a success and target for improvement to work on in the future. It is useful in providing students with a base to work on their literacy skills in sentence structuring. The resource is printed, cut out, laminated and then placed on a key ring for the students to use. Labels for the students to write on are provided also.

This resource is for students to correctly evaluate each others work giving a success and a target for improvement comment which is useful as it also provides a base for the students to build their literacy skills in the use of sentence structuring. Both circles are printed, cut, laminated and then attached to a key ring hook so they stay together. The students then share them one between two which has been successful in evaluating pieces of design work and homework. Labels for the students to write on are provided also.
